Afternoon Boot Camp

5:30pm Boot Camp class is starting Sept. 7th on Tues/Thurs for 8 weeks. Sign in at the gym foyer, then meet in the IPC back parking lot. Bring a beach towel and water. Only $3 per class!

Body Blast: Cardio and strength conditioning using weights, bands, balls, and more. Mon/Wed/Fri at 8:30am in the IPC gym. $3 per class

Young At Heart- Fitness for seniors: Focuses on strength, flexibility, and balance. Mon at 10:30am and Wed at 11:00am. $3 per class.

Powerwalking: 8:30am Tues/Thurs mornings- Email Adrienne at adrienne@indepres.org to sign up to get notifications on where we will be walking.

Pilates: Tues/Thurs at 8:20am in room 149
$10 per class

Whole Wheat Flax Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients:
3 very ripe bananas
½ cup honey
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ cup all purpose flour
½ cup whole wheat flour
¼ cup milled flax seeds
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions:

1. Heat the oven to 350° F. Lightly oil a loaf pan. 2. Mash the bananas and mix with the honey, canola oil and vanilla extract. 3. Stir together dry ingredients. Add the nuts.4. Blend the two mixtures and spoon into a lightly oiled loaf pan. Bake for 40 minutes, or until center is set.
